They had called me today. I talked to a man name Brain McCormick and he told me i was approved for a loan that i had asked for online of 10,000… my monthly payments would be 190 for 5 years and there was.. ( This is what was said in the first page.)On behalf of Maloy Referrals we would like to thank you for responding to our recent Loan-offer. Congratulations! You have been approved for a Secured Personal Loan in the amount of $10,000.00. The total amount is payable within 5 years at a fixed interest rate of 7% and a monthly payment of $198.01 USD per month. Once you have obtained your Insurance Premium totaling of $594.03 your loan amount of $10,000.00 USD will be issued out to you within 6-12 guaranteed business hours. So are they real or no
It sounds like a scam to me. Most loan offers don’t come with this kind of insurance premium. Yes, you can buy insurance to pay off a loan if you are injured or can’t work for other reasons, but this sounds like a very high cost insurance. Call your bank or have somebody else do it for you and ask them what their rates are for this kind of insurance. I’m thinking that you pay this loan outfit for this insurance. It’s very possible that if you give them this $594.03 you’ll never hear from them again. It sounds like they want a payment up front and they’re disguising it as an insurance premium. This has scam written all over it. Frankly, this also sounds like a fairly high interest rate given the low interest rates in todays economy. Contact the Better Business Bureau and see what they know about the company. Also contact your state attorney general office and ask them about the company. See if they are licensed to offer loans in your state.
It’s very hard to research this type of operation because they change the company name almost every week. When you do a search, nothing comes up because the name has been changed.
